Description CD4510B Presettable BCD Up/DownCounter and the CD4516 Presettable Binaryup/Down Counter. consist of four synchron-ously clocked D-type fltip-flops (with a gatingstructure to provide T-type flip-flop capa-bility) connected as counters.
These counterscan be cleared by a high level on the.RESETline, and can be preset to any binary numberpresent on the jam inputs by a high level onthe PRESET ENABLE line.
The CD45108will count out of non-BCD counter states in amaximum of two clock pulses in the upmode，and a maximum of four clock pulsesin the down mode.
