The MAX31865AAP+T is a resistance-to-digital converter (RTD) from Analog Devices Inc./Maxim Integrated. It is a 20-pin SSOP package device designed for accurate temperature measurement of platinum resistance temperature detectors (PRTDs) with a resistance range of 0 to 4000 Ω. The MAX31865AAP+T features an internal delta-sigma (ΔΣ) modulator and a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that converts the resistance of the PRTD into a digital output. The digital output is available in both SPI and 3-wire formats. The MAX31865AAP+T also includes a built-in reference resistor, which eliminates the need for an external reference resistor.
