Description

The Texas Instruments TPS65262-1RHBR is an integrated power sequencing and sequencing management solution with a tracking controller (TSC). It is designed for use in advanced power management systems, providing control for up to eight power supply rails and support for up to four battery-backed memory sequences. It features the capability to sequence several supply rails between two independent power sources. All of the required sequencing functions are integrated into the TPS65262-1RHBR and managed through a central command register.
The device is designed to provide reliable and repeatable power sequencing while reducing development time and cost by eliminating manual parameters and design of power sequencing functionality. Additionally, the TPS65262-1RHBR includes over-voltage and over-current protection to ensure safe operation of the power rail circuit.
Features such as adjustable slew rate and dead time setting, as well as timing, enable complete customization of the power rail sequencing process.
The device also has a reset state status register, allowing user firmware to determine the current state of each rail. This highly integrated device reduces board space, enabling customers to downsize the power rail design.
The TPS65262-1RHBR is optimized for applications such as medical devices, industrial control, telecom systems, servers and storage systems.
