The control device family known as UC2844AD8G4 is an upgraded version of the UCx84x family that is pin-for-pin compatible. This family of devices offers a number of enhanced functions and provides the functionality required to regulate current-mode or switched-mode power sources.
The output stage may sink at least 10 mA at less than 1.2 V for VCC above 5 V during UVLO, and the startup current is less than 0.5 mA, oscillator discharge is cut to 8.3 mA.UC2844AD8G4
