The UC2872DWG4 is a resonant lamp ballast controller for cold cathode fluorescent, neon, and other gas discharge lamps. While reducing switching loss and EMI generation, the resonant power stage generates a sinusoidal lamp drive voltage. To control lamp intensity, a buck regulator synchronized to the resonant frequency of the external power stage is used. UC2872DWG4
